It started with a tease. One post — “IS LOADING…”, and a promise that my subs would eat first. No roadmap, no whitepaper. Just a hint that something was coming.
Here’s where that hint comes from. God Hates NFTees has been around since June 29, 2022. Almost four years later, we’re still here — and that’s not nothing. DotLand launches on that exact date, the anniversary, on purpose. If this community is known for one thing, it’s resilience: showing up, again and again, long after the noise moved on.
I’ll be honest with you — NFTs aren’t the center of the universe like they were when GHN started. The hype cooled; a lot of projects didn’t make it. But outlasting the cycle is the thing we’ve always done best. So I built something for us to rally around.
DotLand is a loving parody of the Million Dollar Homepage: one grid where crypto communities — and entire countries — compete for limited territory. If you remember Reddit’s r/place, the spirit is the same — claim your space, hold it, and watch a community’s strength appear on the board in real time. A genuinely strong community can’t hide it: the top-ten most-present communities on the grid become impossible to ignore. That’s the whole game — presence you can actually see.

I thought it might land. I didn’t think it would land like this. I dropped a second hint and over 4,000 Solana wallets came in for the allowlist. That’s when it stopped being an idea in my head and became something real — something worth building right.
And I have to thank the people who actually make it possible: my subscribers. Here’s the honest mechanic — my X subscriptions are my only income. That’s exactly why I’m free to build DotLand without funding pressure or conflict of interest: my subscribers already support me, so the grid doesn’t have to. You already feed me — so this is me showing up for you. Come find me at @SrPeters. Genuinely: none of this exists without you. Thank you.
So here’s the promise. 30% of every lamport this mint raises goes back to the community — not to me. A public, on-chain rule draws winning Dots at random: about 1.5% of all Dots win (around 150 if the whole grid fills). It runs on Solana’s own block hashes, so you can verify any win yourself — and watch the treasury on Solscan. You don’t have to trust me. You can check.
LDMv34yg3T95iRe9j7RskqMe9vnYUUvxEzTd6AEREciA couple of debts, too: the Million Dollar Homepage for the original idea, and Decentraland for proving that owning a piece of digital land could actually mean something.

That’s it. No grand promises — just a grid, a community that refuses to quit, and a date that means something. Claim your territory. Let’s show up one more time.
